Our project “Fertility in Romania and Moldova: Exploring the Dynamics, Determinants, and Impact of Social Policies” was presented at the Joint Working Meeting on Moldova–Romania Research Collaboration, held in Chișinău, on June 6–7, 2025.
The event brought together researchers, representatives from key ministries in both Moldova and Romania, as well as officials from the National Authority for Research, the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI, Romania), and the National Agency for Research and Development (Moldova). It provided a valuable platform for presenting the outcomes and progress of joint research projects across various fields.
The meeting served as a forum for reviewing developments in collaborative research projects launched in 2023. Participants emphasised the importance of fostering long-term partnerships between researchers and institutions from both countries, with the goal of creating a more interconnected and regionally integrated scientific and educational landscape.
The event was organised by UEFISCDI and ANCD as part of the “Collaborative Projects with the Republic of Moldova” initiative, under PNCDI IV, Programme 5.8 – European and International Cooperation, Subprogramme 5.8.3.
